Parque de la Paloma

By in Tourism with 0 Comments

“Pigeon park” in english, but Parque de la Paloma in spanish. Another leisure area, familiar and peacefull.

What is different in this park? There are free animals, but don’n worry! It isn’n a zoo, the animals are bunnies, ducks, chikens, peacocks, pigeons (of course) and sometimes, parakeets or parrots. The temperature inside is very nice due to the trees and the lake.

The artificial lake is home to turtles, ducks and swans. There is also a fenced area with animals: emues, mouflons, ostriches…

in other area there is a little selection of cactus.

Is has five entries, one very close to the Selwo Marina. It’s easy to park, it has a large area around.

This park is very close to the promenade and has three bars where you can have a meet with friends.

Children enjoy in the two playpen, for all ages.

This park is used too for the celebration of the San Juan festivities, where people meet with family or friends to have a great picnic.

You also can rent familiar bikes and go round the lake.
